HOW WE WORK
Shaped by your situation
Every engagement starts with a diagnostic — understanding the programme, the parties, and the goals before any scope is defined.
The frameworks, the process, and the advisory areas we bring to bear are shaped by that conversation.
This page explains the principles that guide how we work, the four-stage framework we apply to every programme, the structural considerations we navigate, and what it looks like in practice.
HOW WE WORK
The principles behind every engagement
Six principles that shape how we work — across every engagement type, every stage, and every party in the chain.
01 Diagnostic before scope
The first conversation is never a sales call. It is a structured diagnostic — covering the programme, the parties, the live tensions, and the goals. The scope follows from that, not from a standard template.
02 All three parties in the frame
Every design decision is evaluated from three perspectives simultaneously — insurer, distributor, and insured. A solution that works for two parties at the expense of the third is not a solution. It is a deferred problem.
03 Regulatory and data as foundations
Regulatory architecture and data design are built in from stage one — not added after launch. Both run across every stage of the programme lifecycle and shape every other design decision.
04 Commercial alignment before build
The commercial structure — revenue share, commission, renewal framework, performance incentives — is agreed before product design is finalised. Programmes where the economics are unresolved at launch become adversarial at the first renewal.
05 Speed through structure
Time to market matters. The way to go faster is parallel workstreams and clear stage gates — not skipping the steps that protect the programme's long-term performance. We build the launch timeline around what the programme requires, not what a headline date demands.
06 Partnership beyond launch
The advisory relationship does not end at go-live. The performance management, renewal strategy, and optimisation work that follows launch is where much of the long-term value is created. B2XPRO is designed to stay in the room.
HOW WE WORK
The four-stage programme development framework
Every engagement — whether a full programme build, a review, or an optimisation — is structured around four development stages.
The stages are not always sequential and not always all in scope. But they define the full lifecycle of a B2B2x programme, and B2XPRO's expertise covers every one of them.
STAGE 01
Research & design
The foundation stage. Before any product is designed, any capacity is approached, or any technology is scoped, B2XPRO maps the opportunity, the market, and the programme structure.
This stage produces the design brief that governs every subsequent decision — cover scope, commercial model, regulatory architecture, distribution channel, and technology approach. Getting this stage right is the single greatest determinant of whether a programme performs at launch or requires a rebuild within twelve months.
For review and optimisation engagements, this stage takes the form of a structured diagnostic of the existing programme — producing the baseline assessment that the improvement roadmap is built on.
ADVISORY AREAS
01 Programme design & strategy | Market analysis, feasibility, programme structure.
03 Reinsurance & capacity strategy | Advising on capacity market engagement, initial structuring.
04 Regulatory & compliance | Permissions mapping, regulatory structure options.
06 Partner & channel selection | Distributor and capacity partner evaluation.
LAYERS ACTIVE
Regulatory & compliance — active from first contact / Data & reporting — MI architecture scoped at this stage.
STAGE 02
Commercial & product build
The build stage. The design brief produced in stage one becomes a programme — product wording, pricing methodology, commercial structure, capacity approach, and regulatory permissions all established here.
This is where the six structural considerations are resolved in practice — where cover scope is agreed, commercial terms are structured to align incentives across all parties, and regulatory architecture is put in place before any customer-facing activity begins.
ADVISORY AREAS
02 Product & proposition development | Cover design, policy wording, fair value.
03 Reinsurance & capacity strategy | Advising on treaty structure, MGA considerations.
04 Regulatory & compliance | AR framework, permissions, Consumer Duty.
05 Commercial structuring & economics | Revenue share, commission, renewal framework.
STAGE 03
Develop & embed
The operationalisation stage. The programme designed in stages one and two is built into systems, processes, and customer journeys — ready to operate at scale from day one.
B2XPRO coordinates the integration of all parties at this stage — technology partner, TPA, distributor operationalisation, and regulatory infrastructure — so the programme launches as a coherent whole rather than a collection of separately built components that have never been tested together.
ADVISORY AREAS
07 Technology & integration | API build, platform integration, data architecture.
08 Customer experience & retention | Journey design, CX standards, conversion.
09 Claims operating model & TPA | TPA selection, claims model design, service standards.
10 Fraud & financial crime | KYC/AML considerations, fraud controls framework.
STAGE 04
Launch & perform
The performance stage. Launch is not the end of the programme build — it is the beginning of the performance management cycle. The MI framework, renewal structure, and optimisation roadmap agreed in earlier stages are activated here.
Programmes that have a dedicated performance management discipline at this stage consistently outperform those that treat launch as the finish line. The commercial and relationship value created by ongoing advisory engagement compounds over time.
ADVISORY AREAS
11 Performance management & optimisation | MI, KPIs, programme health, renewal strategy.
08 Customer experience & retention | Retention programme, renewal conversion.
05 Commercial structuring & economics | Renewal commercial framework.
04 Regulatory & compliance | Advisory support on conduct frameworks and regulatory considerations.

The frameworks and principles on this page are applied to every B2XPRO engagement — shaped by the specific situation, parties, and goals of the programme in question. The first conversation is where that begins.
